Sheikh Mohamed Mahmoud Buheiri

Sheikh Buheiri is a Quran reciter born in Egypt in 1927. He is known in Egypt for his imitation of Sheikh Muhammad Rifat and for his religious singing also known as Tawasheeh. From Cairo, sheikh Buheiri has visited London, Brazil, Brunei, Kuwait and the US among other countries. A very limited number of recordings can be found on the internet "(see below)."

Sheikh Buheiri is the chairman of Judges for Qir'at Competitions in Egypt, and has spent time with Shaykh Nazim al-Qubrusi and the Royal Family of Brunei.
