The Alfred Denny Building is a 7-storey red brick building in Sheffield, England. It is a part of the University of Sheffield, linked to Firth Court (named after Mark Firth) via the Addison Building, the original site of the Firth College, one of the forerunners of the university, and still its current administrative headquarters, housing the Vice-Chancellor's office. The building itself houses the University's Departments of Biomedical Science and Animal & Plant Science [cite web | url = http://www.shef.ac.uk/aps/contacts | title = People and Contacts | work = Animal and Plant Science | publisher = University of Sheffield | accessdate = 2007-02-07 ] including its associated museum. It also houses the Perak Laboratories, used by students reading degrees from Medicine to Bioengineering, a large and well furnished computer centre, several lecture theatres and the Hillsborough Centre, [cite web | url = http://www.shef.ac.uk/ssid/locations/hsuite.html | title = Location of the Hillisborough Suite | work = Student Services Information Desk (SSiD) | publisher = University of Sheffield | accessdate = 2007-02-07 ] for disabled and dyslexic students.

Axordia, one of the United Kingdom's leading human embryonic stem cell (hESC) companies, with a growing portfolio of publications [cite web | accessdate = 2007-02-07 | url = http://www.axordia.com/publications/index.php | publisher = Axordia | title = Publications ] also works out of the building, [cite web | accessdate = 2007-02-07 | url = http://www.axordia.com/aboutus/contact/index.php | publisher = Axordia | title = Contact page ] although their offices are in the Sheffield Bioincubator.
