When Audrey first began as Van, she had no idea of the names of the characters that she would be interacting with, much less remembered their names; since she had just replaced
Bonnie Bartlett , so she called everyone "dear".After Audrey joined "Guiding Light" as Sarah Shayne, it was interesting to note that when she played Van on "Love of Life", Van's mother was also named Sarah. (Sarah had been played by Jane Rose; Joanna Roos {who had interestingly played her first mother in-law, Althea Raven, in the show's early years and was most identified in the later role of Sarah}; and lastly by Valerie Cossart)
