Cheiropteriphily is the pollination by bats (Bat Pollination):This pollination occurs in plants growing in the tropical regions.Bats visit flowers to suck nectar, chew the pollen and feed on the insects found there.::The following are characteristics of flowers pollinated by bats:
*They are large sized
*They have large pedicles
*They produce large amount of nectar
*They open at night(to meet with the nocturnal nature of bats) and emit scent.

Bat Pollination occurs on

"Kigelia africana" , "Anthocephalus", "Kigelia pinnata" (Bottlebrush), "Adansonia digitata", etc.
