Purdue Research Park

Purdue Research Park is a 725-acre research park located in West Lafayette, Indiana, less than 2 miles north of Purdue University's West Lafayette campus. Representing the largest cluster of technology-based companies in the state of Indiana, the research park is under the continuing development of the Purdue Research Foundation and is currently the largest certified technology park in Indiana. Founded in 1961, Purdue Research Park is now home to more than 140 companies encompassing numerous industries and fields of study, including biology, materials science, and information science, among others.

Facilities

One of the largest university-affiliated, high-tech business parks in the United States, Purdue Research Park is made up of 52 distinct buildings. The following are the 11 key buildings that make up the research park.

Research

Purdue University and Purdue Research Foundation seek to use Purdue Research Park to transform the economy of the West Lafayette Area for the benefit of the university. The research park offers a natural extension from a research institution to a business venture.
