Karim El Mejjati

Karim El Mejjati (1967-2005) was an al-Qaeda operative who became wanted in several countries before he was killed (with 14 others) in Ar Rass, Saudi Arabia in April 2005. The FBI statement said that he had a passport which was issued in France, and his last known entry into the United States occurred between 1997 and 1999. His aliases included Bashir Al-Maghribi and Abu Ilyas. Al-Mejjati was born 30 October 1967 in Morocco. According to the Saudis his real name was Abdul-Karim al-Mejjati (lang-ar
عبد الكريم المجاطي
).
