Oderick Turner

Oderick Turner (born December 7, 1986 in New Jersey) is an American football wide receiver and currently playing for the Pitt Panthers football team. In 2005, Williams was considered a top 5 recruit for the quarterback position. During his during his senior and junior seasons at Teaneck High School he compiled over 1,600 yards to twice earn unanimous first team All-North New Jersey Interscholastic League (NNJIL) honors. He was redshirted for Pitt as a freshman and became the Panthers number two wideout during the 2006 season.

Personal

Turner is the son of Michelle and Odessa Turner and has four brothers. His father was a receiver with the New York Giants and San Francisco 49ers from 1987-93. Oderick is enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pittsburgh.

College career

He started as a redshirt freshman in Pitt's 2006 season opener against the Virginia Cavaliers and Tyler Palko threw him a deep ball which Turner took for a 72 yard touchdown. The 72 yard catch also is his career long. As of October 20, he has 23 receptions for 392 yards and 4 touchdowns.
