Габаши́ (Габяши́) Султа́н Хаса́нович (Султа́н-Ахме́т Хасанга́тович), Gabashi (Gabyashi) Sultan Khasanovich (Sultan-Akhmet Khasangatovich); 1891-1942) was a Tatar composer, musicologist and choirmaster.
He was born in the village of
Keche Sulabash ofDubyazsky Volost ofKazan Uyezd ,Kazan Governorate ,Russian Empire (nowVysokogorsky District ofTatarstan ).In collaboration with
Vasili Vinogradov andĞäziz Älmöxämmädev he composed first Tataropera s, "Saniä" (1925) and "Eşçe [ [IPA|eʃˈʃʲe] ] (The Worker)" (1930), vocal and instrumental concertos, arrangement of folk songs.
