- Pat Rodriguez
Pat Rodriguez (16 March 1900ndash2 February 1964) was a leading
Australian rules football player in theWest Australian Football League (WAFL) before becoming an administrator.Rodriguez was a prominent player with Subiaco, playing 160 games. He was the WAFL's leading goalkicker in 1920, and played in the Subiaco 1924 premiership team.
Beginning his administrative career as a delegate for Claremont in 1927, he went on to become WAFL senior vice-president (1949-1950), and then WAFL president (1951-1964). He was also the president of the
Australian National Football Council from 1956 until 1964.Rodriguez was inducted to the
Australian Football Hall of Fame in 1996.References
