Gordon Mulrain (musician)

Gordon Mulrain, aka Innerheart, has been a performing musician since 12 years of age, in the studio and on the stage. He joined UK reggae outfit Jah Warriors as bass player and worked with artists like Lee Perry, Mikey Dread and Aswad. After 2 albums and around 5 singles the band split.

He joined Desmond Dekker and worked with him on 3 albums and toured Europe and USA until the loss of Desmond in May 2006. He also worked with Dawn Penn, Mark Morrison, Darien Prophecy, Errol Dunkley, Alton Ellis, YT and Mad Professor. His versatile style allowed him to play bass and drums for Reggae, R&B, Jazz, Soca and Pop Artistes.

In the studio (Lost Toys) he produces all genres of music, mixing his programming skills with live drums, bass, guitar, keyboards and percussion to give that authentic sound. His love for different types of music allows him to get right into the style he is working on.

In 2004 Gordon teamed up with Nat Clarxon (real name Nathaniel James Clarkson) and together they formed the production name of NJC & Innerheart. They co-wrote the majority of the debut album 'Straight Outta Britain' for British reggae & dancehall artist YT. As well as artist development they have also had extensive experience together in composing music for the media, seeing their compositions used on various advertising campaigns in the UK, USA, Southern Hemisphere and many parts of Europe.
