Hewitt-Trussville High School is a high school located in
Trussville ,Alabama . The school was named after Robert Hewitt, who was school superintendent in 1969. Hewitt-Trussville has several varsity sports teams, includingbaseball ,football ,basketball ,soccer ,golf ,wrestling , cross-country, indoor and outdoor track and field,cheerleading , andvolleyball . The school also has several reputable electives and extra-curricular activities. The fomer R.G. Hewitt High School was located where Hewitt Trussville Middle School is currently. The new high school building was constructed in 1984, but a newer facility is currently being built off of Deerfoot Parkway in Trussville.
