Bibugn

Bibugn is one of the 105 woredas in the Amhara Region of Ethiopia. Part of the Misraq Gojjam Zone, Bibugn is bordered on the south by Machakel, on the west by the Mirab Gojjam Zone, and on the east by Hulet Ej Enese. Towns in Bibugn include Digua Tsion and Weyin.

Based on figures published by the Central Statistical Agency in 2005, this woreda has an estimated total population of 112,761, of whom 57,454 were males and 55,307 were females; 3,033 or 2.69% of its population are urban dwellers, which is less than the Zone average of 10.7%. With an estimated area of 574.9 square kilometers, Bibugn has an estimated population density of 196.1 people per square kilometer, which is greater than the Zone average of 166.35.
