Felix Ives Batson

Felix Ives Batson (September 6, 1819 – March 11, 1871) was a prominent American lawyer and politician from Arkansas.

Felix I. Batson was born in Dickson County, Tennessee. He later moved to Arkansas and established a law practice. In 1853, he was a state court judge, and later served as a justice of the Arkansas Supreme Court in 1858.

During the American Civil War, he represented Arkansas in the First Confederate Congress and the Second Confederate Congress, returning home when the war was over.

Batson died in Clarksville, Arkansas, and was buried there in Oakland Cemetery.
