Fly to the Sky . This is the first studio album under PFull Entertainment, Fly to the Sky's second record label.Overview
The title of the album was chosen by
Brian Joo who felt that the duo "needed to change from teen idols to musicians," and also because the album included genres other than R&B. hanja of the title is translated to evasion.] were heavily promoted by the duo. The songs received heavy airplay and became largely successful. "Like a Man" was selected as the "Mutizen Song" ["Mutizen" is aportmanteau ofnetizen and music, and the Mutizen Songs are songs that receive the most votes from the netizens on the website of Ingi Gayo.] on music program "Ingi Gayo" ("Popular Songs") for three consecutive weeks for the first time in their career. Both singles were very strongly promoted, and it allowed Fly to the Sky to stay in the spotlight for many months.Other tracks that received publicity were collaborations with female vocalists such as Gummy and Lisa. Unlike their previous works, the album did not feature any rap. When a question regarding this was directed at
Brian Joo , he had said he no longer thinks that there are any opportunities to include rap in the duo's works. He was also displeased with the fact that rap or hip-hop music is merely labeled as "dance music " in Korean music industry and that the genre gives them reputation asteen idol s. Repackage
To commemorate the commercial success of this album, Fly to the Sky re-released the album with three extra tracks, which are "Hwan Sang (Illusion)", "Hot and Cold" and "When I Say." The tracks are less melodramatic and much lighter than the original tracks of the album. In addition, the repackage came with a bonus DVD with music videos and short clips of both Hwanhee and Brian.
