Heidelberg High School is a school operated by the
Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) located onMark Twain Village , a housing area for American military members and their families inHeidelberg ,Germany . It is one of DoDDS's original five high schools opened in1946 . There are only two of the original five remaining, the other beingKubasaki High School at [http://www.okinawa.usmc.mil/ Marine Corps Base Camp S.D. Butler] (formerly Fort Buckner) Okinawa, Japan, however, other high schools were built later.It has grades 9-12 (originally 7-12 until 1976 when a middle school (built for grades 6-8) was built on
