Attila Bernath

Attila Bernath

Attila Bernath (born 1977 in Budapest, Hungary) is a contemporary painter. He received an invitation from several galleries and he was also a participant in some reconstuctions of historic monuments including the Matthias Church on Buda's Castle Hill.

Attila Bernath belongs to a new generation of visual artists who produce painting on strong ideological basis. Using the visual language of the classical era and modernism, he has created his own unmistakable art.

In 2004 Bernath published his short stories best of-selection titled [http://www.mek.oszk.hu/01900/01969/index.phtml Manifesto] on the National Library's website. This was a literary introduction to his visual art, too.
