Edward Larrikin (born 25 April 1986) was the lead singer of the band Larrikin Love. Although on his band's forum he claims that his real name is Liam, this is an "in joke" between him and the rest of his band, who have always tried to encourage a sense of confusion and alliteration where the names of the band members are concerned. Several friends of his have confirmed that Edward is his real name.

There has been quite a bit of speculation as to his sexual preferences following the release of Larrikin Love's first single Six Queens, which is about crossdressing and prostitution, however all speculation is entirely unfounded, as he has been in a long term relationship since 2003 with "Alice" who is noted to have designed all the artwork for the Larrikin Love albums and singles, as well as the film which formed the backdrop to his play, Camusflage Krokodial at it's first performance in March 2008. He claims to have lost all interest in living in Britain and now wishes to emigrate to France. He plays many folk based instruments including the guitar, mandolin, ukulele and others. Recently he contributed vocals to friend Patrick Wolf's single Accident and Emergency.

The Pan I Am

On 29 July 2007 Edward unveiled his new project 'The Pan I Am'.

The eight-song set saw the new group receiving loud applause from the seated crowd which including Patrick Wolf, Babyshambles' Drew McConnell and The Rumble Strips' Charlie Waller.

The Pan I Am played:

'Lillian Looks Beyond"Ophelia Aged 6"Milina At Midnight"The Final Ecstacy"Of Jeremiah Ghost"I Wasn’t Even There"This Is Vanilla Death, Baby"Escape Song'

A number of shows have been played since including a slot for the BBC at 2008's South by South West festival in Austin, Texas, USA. The band includes Ross Kenning, Ben Smith, Dan Clarke, Aaron McKay and Jonnie Fielding.

Edward performed at Laugharne Literary Festival on the 28th and 29th of March, 2008. Both gigs were accompanied by Patrick Wolf, who performed for the first time since the finales of his 2007 tour on the 20th and 21st December 2007.

Camusflage Krokodial

Edward also showcased a play written and directed by himself, "Camusflage Krokodail". Performed by Orlando Seale, it was a great success.

'Camusflage Krokodial' had its premiere at London Word Festival in March 2008.

Trivia

Five years ago Edward appeared in the episode "What In The Name of God..." of Ross Kemp's "Ultimate Force" playing a member of a religious commune.
