Bátorove Kosihy

Bátorove Kosihy ( _hu. Bátorkeszi) is a village and large municipality in the Komarno District in the Nitra Region of south-west Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1156.

Geography

The village lies at an altitude of 123 metres and covers an area of 45.886 km².It has a population of about 3490 people.

Ethnicity

The village is about 84% Magyar, and 16% Slovak.

Facilities

The village has a public library, a gym and a football pitch. It also has a DVD rental store.
