Bajč (in Hungarian "Bajcs") is a village and municipality in the Komarno District in the Nitra Region of south-west Slovakia.

History

In historical records the village was first mentioned in 1312.

Geography

The village lies at an altitude of 121 metres and covers an area of 36.476 km².It has a population of about 1,240 people.

Demographics

The village is about 58% Magyar, 40% Slovak and 2% Romany.

Facilities

The village has a public library, and a football pitch.
