Tajammul Hussain

Tajammul Hussain is a writer and former bureaucrat of Pakistan. His last official assignment was as Pakistan's Ambassador to Malaysia.

He is famous for his valiant radio impromptu during Pakistan's 1965 war with India. This radio program served as a morale booster for the armed forces and ciizens of Pakistan. Later, after the 1965 war ended, the transcript of this program was compiled in form of a book, called "shehr-nama".

Tajammul Hussain published his autobiography in February 2007. The book has been written in Urdu and is currently in the process of being translated into English. The book was published by 'Sang-e-Meel Publications Pakistan'.
