Vaniamkulam Ottapalam taluk, District Palakkad, Province Kerala, India. Vaniamkulam is famous for its chanda (cattle fair) held every Thursday. Cattle (mostly bull and cow) are up for the grabs. It caters to people in and around Ottapalam taluk, but people from as far as neighboring province (Tamil Nadu) are often spotted. The fair is one of its kind and has been a feature of this small town for over 50 years.

Vaniamkualam is known for its idyllic and scenic landscapes. It is a laidback town and is nestled amidst mountains. One of the famous mountains in these regions, Ananganmala, is located here. This town is equidistant and well-connected to the two major townships, Ottappalam and Shoranur. The main occupation of the people here is agriculture.
