Awen Guttenbeil is a New Zealand rugby league player. He was one of the longest serving Warriors playing eleven seasons with the club and the second of only two players to receive a testimonial with the club, the first being Stacey Jones who he played alongside in his junior years.

Awen joined the Castleford Tigers in 2006 after agreeing to uphold his contract after the Castleford Tigers were relegated from the Super League. He is the co-captain of Castleford for the 2008 ESL season

He has been named in the Tonga squad for the 2008 Rugby League World Cup.cite web|url=http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_league/7658506.stm|title=Samoa, Tonga and Fiji name squads|publisher=BBC|date=2008-10-08|accessdate=2008-10-09]
