Shankaragaurishvara Temple

The Shankaragaurishvara temple is dedicated to the Hindu God Shiva and located in Patan near Baramula, India. The temple was built by Shankaravarman of Kashmir's Utpala dynasty who ruled between 883-902 C.E. It is presently in a dilapidated condition and worship is no longer conducted. It is built in a style similar to the Shankaracharya temple.
