K41FQ is a low-power television station in Springfield, Missouri, broadcasting locally in analog on UHF channel 41. Founded February 28, 1989, it is an owned and operated station belonging to Trinity Broadcasting Network, and rebroadcasts the signal of TBN via satellite.

History

The FCC granted an original construction permit for a low-power television station on February 28, 1989, to operate on UHF channel 52. The station, initially owned by John and Kathryn Wilson, was given callsign K52DH. In April 1989, the Wilsons agreed to assign the construction permit to Trinity Broadcasting, and the sale was made in September 1989. The station was granted a license on November 30, 1990.

In May 2000, having to accommodate the digital signal of KOLR, the station received permission to move to UHF channel 41. The station was licensed on November 25, 2002, with the new callsign of K41FQ.

In 2006, the station was granted a construction permit to begin converting operations to digital television. Upon completion, the station will become a digital repeater of TBN, broadcasting all five TBN services.
