The Yarrawonga Football Club, nicknamed the Pigeons, is an Australian Rules Football club playing in the Ovens & Murray Football League. Yarrawonga were the winners of the 2006 OMFL premiership.

The club is based in the town of Yarrawonga, Victoria located on the Murray River.

Yarrawonga Football Club has produced many VFL/AFL players including Joel Smith, Ben Dixon, Craig Ednie, Luke Hammond, Tom Lonergan and Jack Connell and Dylan McNamara and Jayke Nicholson. Another huge unit at the Yarrawonga Football Club at the moment is Luke Doyle. The young man has really progressed from juniors and is looking like a huge threat to the O and M Seniors side in 2009. It is hardly an outrageous claim to say he will win Best and Fairest for 2009, take out a goal kicking award and lead the side to an unbelievable premiership. He's a work in progress at the moment but 2012 is going to be a huge year in AFL footy with young Luke as the number one draft pick at the age of 18. Good luck to the young gun.
