The following is a list of communities in the United States with a population of 5 people as of the 2000 Census.

The smallest incorporated city in the United States was Maza, North Dakota with only 5 residents. In 2002 the City of Maza was absorbed into the surrounding township of Maza. [ [http://www.census.gov/popest/geographic/boundary_changes/geo3.php] ] The other locations on this list are unincorporated communities, Unorganized territory and/or census-designated places. The second smallest incorporated city in the United States is Islandia, Florida with 6 inhabitants.
