DHJ59

DHJ59 is the callsign of a transmitter of German Navy at Neuharlingersiel. The facility has several antennas for shortwave. Until 2004/2005, there was also an antenna for longwave, which was fixed on two 165 and one 171 metre tall guyed mast. Nowadays two of these masts and the triangle antenna were removed.

Until 2004/2005 the facility was also used for military telegraphic transmissions on 53 kHz forwhich a wire antenna spun in triangular form between 2 165 metres and 1 171 metres tall guyed masts were used.At the turn of 2004 to 2005 the longwave antenna, the 171 metres tall and one of the 165 metres tall masts of the facility was dismantled.

The remaining 165 metres tall mast of the facility was shortened afterward of 1 metre and equipped with a vertical polarized logarithmic-periodic antenna, which is spun between its construction and an anchor point at the ground.
