Gia Gugushvili

Gia Gugushvili (Lang-ka|გია გუგუშვილი; born August 16 1952) is a prominent Georgian painter.

He was born in Tbilisi. Graduated from the Georgian Academy of Fine and Applied Arts after studying from 1971 to 1977. He finished professor Koki Makharadze’s studio.

He is now the dean of the Georgian Art Academy, a professor and laureate of a State Prize.

His paintings are in museums and private collections all over the world.
