Oliver Kurtz (born October 23, 1971) is a former field hockey forward from Germany, who won the gold medal with the Men's National Team at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain. He was suspended for two years from international hockey for returning a positive test to cocaine at a pre-Olympic tournament in Atlanta in early 1996. His brother Christian Kurtz also played for the national side.

After his active career Kurtz became a hockey coach who, on May 24, 2004, was appointed assistant coach of the Indian National Men's Team after a poor showing by India in the 2004 Men's Hockey Olympic Qualifier, alongside countryman and head coach Gerhard Rach for the 2004 Summer Olympics.
