Era is an unincorporated community in Cooke County,
Texas ,United States .The
Era Independent School District serves area students.About 7 miles west of Era, there is the

Era is also home to a very highly esteemed school district. Era Independent School district is home to the Fighting Hornets and currently has all grade levels, Kindergarten through 12th grade on one campus. The school currently has an enrollment of about 370 students K-12 grades.
