Roger Roberts

Roger Roberts is an American businessman. He served as a director at Citrix Systems, Inc. (“Citrix”), a global leader in virtual workplace software and services, from June 1990 and as Chairman of the Board from June 2000 until May 2002. Mr. Roberts held key management positions for over 11 years while helping Citrix grow from a raw technology startup to a leading software firm, including Chief Operating Officer of Citrix from June 2000 to June 2001, as Chief Executive Officer of Citrix from June 1990 until December 1998, and served as President of Citrix from June 1990 until January 1998.

Prior to joining Citrix, Mr. Roberts was employed for over twenty years by Texas Instruments, a diversified electronics company, where he held technical, marketing and general management positions. Most recently at Texas Instruments, Mr. Roberts was Director of Marketing for the Peripheral Products Division, responsible for the MicroLaser printers and TravelMate notebooks. Mr. Roberts serves on the Board of Directors of Blue Ocean Software, a privately held company in Tampa, Florida. Mr. Roberts has served on the board for several private technology companies, the most recent of which was Blue Ocean Software. Blue Ocean was acquired by Intuit in September, 2002.
