Aravinda Bala Pajanor

Aravinda Bala Pajanor, last name also written as Pazhanoor, (born December 5, 1935) was a member of the 5th and 6th Lok Sabha of India, and Union Cabinet Minister in the Government of India. He, along with Sathiyavani Muthu became the first union cabinet minister from a dravidian party in the first ever coalition ministry in India. He represented the Union Territory of Puducherry, formerly Pondicherry, in the Lok Sabha and is a Senior Advocate in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He is the son of Appaswamy Pajanor, who was a freedom fighter, and a close friend and associate of the great Tamil poet Subramanya Bharathi and Sri Aurobindo. Sir. A.T. Panneerselvam is his uncle, once removed.
