"United in Regret" is the second full length album released by the Melodic death metal band Arsis. The lyrical theme running throughout every song on this album is of the anger, hatred and disappointment that the lyricist feels toward a past lover. This lover feels indifferent toward him (perhaps the reason for the end to the relationship), as stated in 'I Speak Through Shadows', 'Lust Before The Maggots Conquest' and 'The Cold Resistance'. This album has Noah Martin on bass as opposed to James Malone.
