Yosvani Pérez

Yosvani Pérez Ruiz (born January 23, 1974 in Rodas, Cienfuegos Province, Cuba) is a left-handed pitcher for Cienfuegos of the Cuban National Series, and the Cuban national baseball team [cite web|url=http://www.trabajadores.cubaweb.cu/clasico-mundial-beisbol/equipos/cuba/yosvani.htm|title=Yosvani Pérez Ruiz|accessdate=2006-10-10|language=Spanish] . Pérez was part of the Cuban roster at the 2006 World Baseball Classic.

With a 8-5 record and a sparkling 2.30 ERA during the 2005-06 season [cite web|url=http://www.inder.co.cu/indernet/competencias/sinfo/SNacional45/beil1al1.htm#CFG|title=Béisbol Clasificatoria Pitcheo|accessdate=2006-10-10|language=Spanish] , Pérez was one of the few bright spots for a Cienfuegos team that went 35-54.
