Macromantics is the stage name used by the Melbourne-based hip hop artist Romy Hoffman.

Biography

In 1995 Hoffman started performing with her high school classmate, Ben Lee's, pop/punk band Noise Addict as a 15 year old guitarist. She later returned to the US, this time on holiday, ending up in San Fransico.

The result of her San Fransico connection was the release of her debut solo EP, "Hyperbolic Logic" in 2004. In August 2006 she recorded a cover of Kris Kross's "Jump" for Triple J's Like a Version segment.
