Kevin Cadle

Kevin Cadle is a well known sports presenter and former basketball coach. In terms of silverware, he is the most successful coach in the history of British basketball.

Cadle presents American Football and basketball on British television after a career in which he became the most successful coach in UK basketball history with 30 titles attained. He won eight Coach of the Year awards in a 13 year span from 1984 to 1997, starting with Falkirk and continuing in teams including Glasgow, Kingston, Guildford and London Towers.

He also had stints as coach of Scotland and England basketball teams as well as acting as head coach of the Great Britain side in the 1992 Olympics qualification tournament.

Currently, Kevin presents NFL Sunday on Sky Sports alongside Nick Halling: their popular double act has seen NFL viewing figures increase by 45% from last season. Kevin has also presented NBA programming on Sky Sports.

Trivia

A native of Buffalo, Kevin is a supporter of the Buffalo Bills.

He used to have the nickname 'Big Kev McNasty'.

Well known for his catchphrase "spread the love", "Three Letters: N-B-A", "Nice ball game" and "Maurice Jones-Drew". Immediately before going to live coverage of an NFL game, Kevin will normally say 'Let's get to the matter at hand...'

Cadle featured in a series of Budweiser television advertisements during the 2006 FIFA World Cup, in which he unsuccessfully attempted to explain the offside rule to American Football players.
