Sudarshan Agarwal

Sudarshan Agarwal (born June 19, 1931 [http://web.archive.org/web/20070513155019/http://legislativebodiesinindia.gov.in/States/uttranchal/gov.htm Biography of Agarwal] .] ) was the Governor of Sikkim from October 2007 [http://www.newkerala.com/oct.php?action=fullnews&id=13989 "Sudarshan Agarwal sworn in as new Governor of Sikkim"] , UPI (newkerala.com), October 25, 2007.] to July 2008.

Sudarshan Agarwal was born in Ludhiana, and he is a first class Law Graduate. He served as a Member of the National Human Rights Commission for three years as a Judge of the Supreme Court. From 1981 to 1993, he was Secretary-General of the Rajya Sabha.

Agarwal became Governor of Uttrakhand in January 2003.
