Lenn Redman (1912 - 1984) was a
cartoon ist andcivil rights activist. Lenn was born inChicago, Illinois , yet moved to California as a young man to pursue his career. Coming from a family of artists, he was the youngest of three children ofJew ish immigrants. His parents were Sarah and Victor Redman, who migrated from Ladyzhinka, Russia.Lenn's talents led him to become an artist, cartoonist, illustrator, animator, entertainer, author, poet, civil rights advocate. His career spanned more than 50 years.
