Sabado Chiquito

"Sabado Chiquito" or "Sabado Chiquito de Corporan", its official name, is a children's variety show in the Dominican Republic dedicated to children from the ages of 6 to 12. It is a division of "Sabado de Corporan", a show dedicated to adults which includes an entire morning segment on the Colorvision network.

The show is aired in front of a live studio audience which participate in competitions and sketches throughout the show. As of 2007, it airs Saturday mornings in the Dominican Republic on Colorvision Channel 9, for most of the morning. It includes informative segments, dancing, singing, sketches, and contests.

The show, targeted to child audiences, may also appeal to preteen audiences and some teenagers. It changes hosts and cast-members as they grow out of their roles.

Some memorable cast members are hostess Scarlet Mejia and former co-hostess Karlen Paloma Rodriguez Vargas.
