Radio Stations as of June 30, 1925 ] ] until1927 when it switched to broadcasting on the frequency of 1200 kHz on a time shared basis with the other long time station in Wilkes-Barre,WBAX [ [http://members.aol.com/jeff99500/1927am.html U. S. Radio Stations as of June 30, 1927 ] ] . This arrangement lasted unitl1930 when WBRE changed frequency to 1310 kHz [ [http://members.aol.com/jeff99500/1930am.html U. S. Radio Stations as of June 30, 1930 ] ] where it stayed unitl the great nationwide frequency reassignment year of1941 when the station finally landed on its present day broadcast frequency of 1340 kHz [ [http://members.aol.com/jeff560/1942am.html U.
