Robert Sharrock

Robert Sharrock

Robert Sharrock (1630-1684) was an English clergyman and botanist. He was educated at Winchester College and New College, Oxford, where he became a Fellow. He became Archdeacon of Winchester Cathedral, in the final year of his life.. He is now known for "The History of the Propagation and Improvement of Vegetables by the Concurrence of Art and Nature" (1660).
