WBWT-LP (Channel 38) is a new television station located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Affliated with the Spanish-language Azteca América network, the station is owned by Bustos Media, which also owns Traditional Mexican station WDDW (104.7 FM).

The station began airing a test pattern in September, 2006, and officially launched on December 12, 2006. The station launched with only Azteca programming and a video simulcast of WDDW's morning show to start, but in the future expects to add more local programming for Milwaukee's Hispanic community, along with Time Warner Cable carriage [http://news.google.com/news/url?sa=t&ct=us/0-0&fp=457f87514e997b17&ei=fUZ_RdTMFKSCHJ3HpOYO&url=http%3A//milwaukee.bizjournals.com/milwaukee/stories/2006/12/11/daily19.html%3Fjst%3Db_ln_hl&cid=0&sig2=uBn8YgVD_MSoWluJIMV75A] .

Bustos received FCC approval for a construction permit in May 2006 to build a low-power television station. The 150,000-watt TV station transmits from the Milwaukee Public Television tower in Milwaukee. The station's signal covers all of Milwaukee County, as well as surrounding areas. The signal will probably not extend further from Milwaukee, due to full power stations broadcasting on Channel 38 coming from Green Bay (WPNE) and Chicago (WCPX) and low power W38CT in Madison. A digital signal on Channel 31 will launch in the future.

The new TV station, along with WDDW, is housed in a two-story office building at 1136 S. 108th St. in West Allis.
