H. J. Stotter

A New Jersey-based manufacturer of injection molded plastic tumblers and tableware. The brand achieved popularity in the 1960s and 1970s, when its colorful plastic tumblers were sold at high-end retail shops. The tumblers and bar-ware were typically clear, with bright patterns of flowers in the style of other homeware companies of the era like Marimekko and Vera. Because of their unbreakability and festive appearance, they became ubiquitous cocktail hour props for upper middle class sunrooms, pools and decks; one of its competitors is Venice, Florida-based Tervis Tumbler. Unlike brands like Tupperware, Stotter tumblers were harder acrylic or polypropylene.

The brand is now Stotter & Norse, and headquartered in Plainfield, New Jersey.

The brand also traded under the name Stotter Settings.
