Aaron Bedard is the lead singer for the American
hardcore punk band Bane. He is known for his powerful, and often shouted, vocals. Before joining Bane, Aaron sang for Raging Hope, Worcesterstraight edge , then formed Backbone (with Chris Pupecki (Doomriders , Cast Iron Hike) and Dave Green(Cast Iron Hike)) and later played drums in Over Under. He is originally fromWorcester, Massachusetts , but currently lives inBaltimore ,Maryland . Aaron lives avegetarian andstraight edge lifestyle.Outside of Bane, Aaron is interested in all forms of
poker , and plays both live and online. His pet games areTexas hold 'em , andSeven-card stud , but he also enjoys playingPot Limit Omaha andChinese Poker . This poker interest is reflected in the lyrics of the song "Ante Up" (from the album "Give Blood"), but used as a metaphor. Aaron is also aDrum and Bass enthusiast, and has a very large collection of 12" records.Writing
