Town FM (aka Town 102) is a United Kingdom radio station based in Ipswich. It serves Ipswich, Woodbridge, Felixstowe & Harwich. The studios are based at Orion Court, Great Blakenham on the first floor of Radio House.

Town 102 is a music radio station with intelligent, informative and engaging talk. Most of all, it's fun!

Town 102 has its own style and choice of speech and music, tailored to suit the needs of local people. Our programming strategy is based on extensive research and consultation.

The music is a mix, based on the tastes of 35+ year olds – it is likely to be the sort of tracks you have in your record collection and love to hear; but we won’t play the same songs over and over again.

The station covers all of the latest national and world news, but also News from around the corner. Regular news bulletins include the local stories that really matter. There is also a range of programmes, features, and chat about the things that affect daily life in Ipswich. The “Lowdown” diary promotes everything happening locally – festivals, live music, local entertainment, fêtes and much more. The radio station focuses on local life, supporting charity events, fundraising initiatives and important local causes.

And we're a part of the major boost to the local economy ongoing in Ipswich at the moment, providing affordable and effective advertising opportunities to businesses in your community.

Town 102 is accessible too. The website has live feeds and allows you to contact our news team, producers and the presenters. Also, as you'd expect from a local radio station, you can find them out and about everywhere with live outside broadcasts, road shows and promotions.
