Anthony Joseph Celebrezze III is the son of the former Ohio attorney general and gubernatorial candidate Anthony J. Celebrezze Jr.. In 1998, Celebrezze ran for the office of Franklin County, Ohio, USA, clerk of courts. He is the past director of state services for the U.S. Sportsmen's Alliance.
Celebrezze is the grandson of former Johnson cabinet member Anthony Celebrezze, the nephew of former Ohio jurists Frank Celebrezze and James Celebrezze, and the first cousin of Ohio appeals court Judge Frank D. Celebrezze Jr..
