nihongo|Arce of Courage|勇者アルス|"Yūsha Arusu" is the name of a fictional character from the anime and manga series The Lives of Dragon Quest; Crest of Roto.

Biography

He is the hero of this work. Although he received raw as a royal prince of the Carmen Kingdom, the time was made the same with birth and the castle fell by Ryuo's hand. Both he were brought up into Runafurea, the Carmen Knights-Hospitalers' daughter and his old teacher Tarukin who escaped safely to Isis. Although he is the boy in whom childishness still remains in tender-hearted character, he fights against the mission as the Courage and the crest of Roto entrusted to self, parts from various encounter, and is chosen as the one who inherit the crest through fighting with Jagan, who is his rival, etc. Although he had used the sword of light got from Kadar, after smashed Gunon the Vethe and Jagan broke it, he used the sword of Ortega, father of Roto. In addition, when Arce's sword defeated the Different Theod's core with one blow which was filled with the power of MINADEIN, it broke.
