Ruth Elkins

Ruth Elkins ("born 17th September 1978") is a British journalist who often writes for The Mail on Sunday , The Independent on Sunday and The Independent.

In 2003 Elkins was dubbed the "Babe of Berlin" following a [http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_qn4159/is_20030706/ai_n12744069 column] in The Independent on Sunday in which she complained that German men could not flirt. A nation-wide campaign was launched by German news magazine, "Focus", calling on German men to "apply" for her heart. Born in West Sussex, England, Ruth Elkins is a graduate of The London School of Economics and Kings' College, London.
