Neptune Grand

The Neptune Grand is a fictional location in Neptune, California in the television show "Veronica Mars".

The Neptune Grand is a luxury hotel, mainly catering to the upper class, as opposed to the cheaper Camelot Motel. It has also been the site of some important events in "Veronica Mars".

Lianne Mars told her daughter that Jake Kane was innocent of his daughter's murder because he had been at the Neptune Grand with her. She told him to make Celeste, who had been threatening to tell Veronica that Duncan was her half-brother, to back off ("Betty and Veronica").

During the second season, Duncan lived in a room in the Grand ("Driver Ed"). After a fire in Logan Echolls house, he moved in with Duncan ("Rat Saw God") and he kept it after Duncan ran away to Australia. Logan held the "alterna-prom" at the Neptune Grand when Neptune High cancelled the prom ("Look Who’s Stalking") and he also held a graduation party there. It was there that Veronica and Beaver had a confrontation that ended with Beaver jumping off the roof ("Not Pictured") It was in this same place and same episode that Aaron Echolls (Logan Echolls' father) was murdered by Clarence Wiedman.

This hotel is also the location where Dean O'Dell's wife Mindy had been having an extramarital affair with Hank Landry, Veronica's criminology professor.

The exterior of the Neptune Grand is actually the Hyatt Regency.
