Almost 85% of the people in the village dependent on farming. The main crops are Sugarcane, Maize (seasonal) etc. Farming involves making
Jaggery from the sugarcane the process involves boiling thecane juice till it loses all its water content and the hot liquid is allowed to cool which solidifies when cooled. The other interesting thing here is the rearing ofEmu birds. It is actually a bird most commonly found in Australia.
